Developmentally Appropriate Practice

Developmentally Appropriate means the setting and the teacher responses are right for the age and stage of teach child in the program. Various teaching methods are explored, along with cultural diversity, curriculum versus schedule planning, adult-child interactions, and activity areas based on the child's experience. At Tree Top School we employ these practices every day to ensure all the children are thriving and reaching their potential in a way that is special to them.
